Regulator watch glass in hand luggage?
Hello everyone. Has anyone tried to pass through airport security with an antique clock in a handbag? "I bring my old glass regulator clock from Japan to the United States and I am not sure that will put in my hand luggage. The watch is quite heavy in somewhere around 7 kg. It is made of bronze, marble, glass and porcelain. Thank you.
This a unit of security guards crazy. you specified materials are impervious to X-rays and all control devices are suspected anyway. I contacted the airline before being presented to them to help pack and transport the clock. Otherwise, it would conficated or to baggage without proper packaging. First check to minimize future problems.
