Collectors vie for a pocket watch in the ancient world. The first time guards have been designed Originally, large, square, and back to the 16th century. Originally there were only true property of the aristocracy, as it was a real status symbol of authority and wealth. They were simply out of reach of ordinary people. Watches with original was used with weights and are big enough. The pocket watch was made possible by the introduction of springs instead of weights in clocks, and holders of the period authorized for use with the use of a string in the body. They are more mobile, but they were still significantly higher than the clock today. It was also about this time that the accuracy was more important to manufacturers of watches. It's rare, but some older pocket watches, even came with an alarm.
100 years later, the design and craftsmanship, which entered in the realization of each individual clock made from an instant artist of the watchmaker. The cases that have been introduced to protect work has become more delicate and thin rounded corners to soften the appearance of the pocket square and square first watches. Elaborate models have been used and the watchmakers have begun to sign personally dial. It is a tradition still followed by the watchmakers of the modern world.
Another 100 years saw the introduction of gems in the manufacture of watches, particularly diamonds, which were used in bearings in the mechanisms. There are two types of pocket watches, the first open face and how the soap, or "hunter case. The chain is known as a watch "chain" and was attached to a lapel, belt loop or jacket. The delicate hand movements have been softened by the use of oil, and the second half of this century, the second hand has been introduced, which also ensures the accuracy of the time.
In the 19th century, pocket watches really came into itself. The Association of Railway of America came together and established a set of standards for quality and precision of these clocks for security reasons. After a tragic train accident in 1891, standards were applied. After 1893, watches pocket that followed these stringent requirements were known as pocket watches railroad grade. Highly respected watchmakers, like Ulysse Nardin, Minerva, Heuer, IWC and many others, began at that time and has been firmly established. This was also the time he presented the crown of the crown.
This was later followed by the introduction of certificates that were issued by the best designs, but the popularity of watches pocket began to disappear with the introduction of the clock for sale in the 20th century, introduced after the First World War. The pocket watch, became a real collector's item today. Anyone finding a special gift that is unusual, a silver pocket watch part in the bill. They are elegant, distinctive and charming.
