Charm bracelets are a form of personal expression. Small samples are sentimental commemorate a moment in the life history of a magical journey reflected in recent years and often handed down from generation to generation. For those who have not yet succumbed to drug addiction are some tips on how to build your own masterpiece.

Type and style of the belt

Decide if your charm bracelet will be designed in gold or silver. But will not necessarily be expensive when it comes to charms vintage or antique. The sterling silver charms made in the years 1920 – 1960 are some of the most intricately detailed charms and desirable market. They are far superior to those little metal machines spit stains on those days. I have many charms, gold and a little money and I love them all.

First choose the bracelet itself. Is your bracelet to be single bonds, double or triple? Maybe your preference is a unique style and varied route. The thickness relationship is also important. If the bracelet is full of delicate little charms that it is better to stay away from a thick heavy chain links. Also a delicate bracelet relationship will fail if the rooms are spacious and decorated with precious stones.

Various closures offer of different levels of protection. For example, a pin box style with a button closure and safety clasp or bar is less likely picked up while on the wrist of a spring closure standard. There are many options of closure, especially when shopping for bracelets antique or vintage.

Bracelet Item

Choose a theme for your bracelet. It may be memories of special moments in your life, or Holiday, Travel, Pets, the charms of the beach, the possibilities are endless. It's a creative outlet and a great way to express your personality.

Some subjects I chose for my carrier straps are: 1) all mobile charms, 2) all gems of citrine color (my birthstone), 3) a lot of different Zodiac charms Sagittarius (my sign, of course), 4) a European tour, although I've never been a dream for me, and 5) My favorite Similarly, is a collection of Florida attraction memory charms of pre-Disney. I Silver Springs, Bok Tower, Lion Country Safari, Weeki Wachee, Cypress Gardens, Gatorland, St. Augustine, Marineland, and Six Gun Territory, just to name a few.

Great places to look for charms are vintage flea markets, the merchandise sales, antique stores, and my favorite place – on the Internet. Web sites like eBay and Ruby Lane with thousands of charm vintage for sale. Be careful to read the descriptions carefully and check the seller's return policy if the charm is not quite what you thought it would.

Placement Charms

After buying some charms, you will need to be mounted on the bracelet. There are some options here. One of them will buy the rings and set them yourself. This method is good because by providing flexibility in the placement of the charms you buy. The charm can be easily removed and repositioned. This method is risky, however, because charms may not be safe and do not drop your wrist when suspected, it is lost forever, which is very bad.

Another option is to split rings. These are the rings in spiral-like a key ring. The charm and the bracelet are connected to the track moving in the division ring. As a key attached to a fob. They are a little safer the first method, and also offer flexibility. My problem with rings of separation is that no matter how careful I am, I can attach charm without stretching the ring. Once the ring is out of shape, is not so good and the charms are more likely to slip between the son and loosen. A tool that is designed to be used with split rings to minimize the stretch, but I have not practiced it enough to get hit him.

I recently bought jump rings that have a tiny little hook that go well together and it's pretty close to where a link is properly connected. They are called blocks Snapeez Rings. They are a bit more secure than basic jump rings or split rings.

My preferred choice, is the attachment of the solder Standing by a jeweler. It's a good idea to have a bit of charm and space to begin the look they do better in the chain before you commit to soldering. Once they are welded the only way to change the location of cutting the ring again. This can be costly. Expect to pay about $ 5 – $ 7 by the charm of the arrangement of rings, more if the jeweler provides. And, of course, make sure you use a trusted jeweler who has experience in welding.

The Result

Now you're ready to put on his bracelet rattling & Start. Expect to receive many questions and extensions to creation. You'll be surprised how addictive collection charm. Enjoy – it's fun!
